This lecture is given in the framework of further education for doctoral students of the Chair of Water Resources Management and Modeling of Hydrosystems as well as of closely related other chairs and institutions.
It amounts to 1 semester hour per week in each semester.
During this lecture, doctoral and PhD students present the current stage and future perspectives of their theses in detail followed by a critical discussion. The doctoral students should learn to present their scientific work as well as presentation techniques and English language. Additionally, the students should broaden their knowledge in the field of hydro- and environmental numerical simulation and establish synergies to other students and theses with similar aims using similar methods and techniques.
