zeroCUTS – Analyse von Strategien zur vollständigen Dekarbonisierung des urbanen Verkehrs

Projektbeschreibung

Die Entkopplung des Ressourcenverbrauchs und der Treibhausgasemissionen vom wirtschaftlichen Wachstum wird international als wichtiges Ziel zur Einhaltung der ökologischen Grenzen der Erde anerkannt (Deutscher Bundestag, 2013). Während es z.B. im Energiesektor der Industrienationen Anzeichen für eine sich einstellende Stabilisierung der CO2-Emissionen gibt (International Energy Agency, 2016a), ist im Verkehrssektor ein fortgesetzter Anstieg des CO2-Ausstoßes zu beobachten (International Energy Agency, 2016c; Umweltbundesamt, 2017). Die Einführung elektrischer Fahrzeuge gilt als eine mögliche Technologie zur Nutzung regenerativer Energie im Verkehrssektor und somit zur Reduktion der dort entstehenden CO2-Emissionen.
