The Frontiers Research Topic "Towards Omnipresent and Smart Speech Assistants“ is finally published. It contains 12 articles from 38 authors. Two of the editors, Benjamin Weiss and Stefan Hillmann, are from the Quality and Usability Lab.

We are organizing the very first Automated German Text Complexity Assessment Shared Task in KONVENS 2022.
The models should predict the complexity of a sentence in German for German learners in the B level.
Training data will be published on 16th of May.
