The Competence Center for International Logistics Networks (ILNET) together with the University of Rwanda and the GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) is conducting an industry workshop on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and the future role of logistics in leveraging its potential. The workshop takes place on 7 September 2022 in Kigali, Rwanda.
The AfCFTA offers countless opportunities to completely rethink intra-African and also international logistics networks. This workshop aims to identify current logistics challenges of the AfCFTA across industries and to systematically discuss which potentials arise for the redesign of international logistics networks. Based on this, we will develop logistics strategies to leverage the identified potential in the long term.
