Snyder Award for Taarna Studemund (ISMS 2022)

The second attendance at ISMS 2022 was not less successful than the previous year. This year, we were again pleased to receive an award for a group member.

Congratulations to Taarna Studemund, who was honored with the Snyder Award for her talk titled "Si2O2+ -  Photodissociation & Optical Absorption Properties" given at ISMS 2022.

(Snyder Award: The Lewis E. Snyder Astrochemistry Award is a yearly, non-financial award that will awarded to the most innovative and unique astrochemical investigation in either observations, theory or laboratory work. Any level of graduate student is eligible for the award but preference will be given early career students. The talk must be submitted to either the Astronomy sessions or an astronomy focused mini-symposium at the International Symposium on Molecular Spectroscopy. [ISMS Website])

Thanks again to the organizers of the conference and the committee. In Memory to Dr. Snyder. Special thanks to his wife and family, who were present and not only personally handed over the award but were also happy to meet the winner in person.
