Maria Borges joined the ISE research group in 2018 after finishing her masters in Information Systems Management at the TU Berlin. Before joining ISE as an associate, she worked as a teaching and research assistant at the chair as well.
Maria's research revolves around continuous software engineering practices and software architecture. As applications grow more complex, the information that is relevant to the system’s behaviour becomes harder to collect and make sense of. Observability aims to bridge over this complexity gap by establishing practices and tools for instrumentation, collection, processing and analysis. In the context of observability, Maria is particularly interested in the development and maintenance of instrumentation.
