Getting introduced to current major themes in innovation and entrepreneurship, including human-centred design and innovation eco-systems. This practical course will guide and accompany participants to create new valued products, services or experiences, from idea generation trough to business concept development and testing and pitching the developed business concept.

Please note this is a full-time, intensive course and participants will be expected to attend lectures (18 hours of class per week) and complete independent study Monday through Friday. Additional study may also be required on weekends. The activities of the cultural program are also shown in the syllabus.

Prerequisites |

Participants of the TU Berlin Summer School must meet the following requirements: (i) B2 level English, or equivalent and (ii) at least one year of university experience.
Lecturer(s) |

Klaus Kammermeier creates and conducts workshops, learnshops, and online courses. He is a trainer, mentor, and speaker on innovation, preneurship and digital transformation. Klaus is the founder and managing director of Cyoneer GmbH, an innovation consultancy supporting national and international corporations in their endeavour to innovate with impact. For more than 15 years, he led - in technical and commercial leadership positions. - multi-functional global high-performance teams in the US, Europe, and Asia, to provide groundbreaking innovations. Klaus studied Engineering, Economics, and Management at Munich University of Applied Sciences, completed ‚Global Leadership 2020‘ at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and executive education at Columbia University Business School, New York City, USA. During the last few years, he coached and mentored over 150 founders, startups and innovation leaders, supported startup related research programs with Fraunhofer Institute, Helmhotz Association, and GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit). Klaus teaches master students at TU Berlin (Space Engineering), Grenoble Ecole de Management (Innovation Strategy and Entrepreneurship), Glion Institute for Higher Education and other international business chools.
