Fees for the TU Berlin Summer School On-Campus are as follows:

The course fee for all programs covers both, tuition and learning materials for the course.

For TU Berlin Summer & Winter School on-campus courses, the price also includes excursions and field trips, the cultural program (incl. orientation session, entrance fees to museums, sporting activities, certificate presentation etc.), a public transportation ticket for Berlin, Wi-Fi access on the TU Berlin Campus and library access. For TU Berlin Summer School Online courses, these do not apply.

Please note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, restrictions for entry into Germany may apply. Please check in advance which entry and quarantine regulations apply to you.

For TU Berlin Summer & Winter School online courses, the price also the activities of the digital cultural program (incl. orientation session, virtual museum tours, expert talks etc.)

Registration, Payment, Early-bird Discounts and Cancellation

Registration: Must be completed online via our registration portal. The registration fee of sixty Euros (€60,00) covers administration and registration costs, and is payable via Flywire at the time of registration. Please note that this fee is not refundable.

Payment: Candidate students will receive an invoice for the tuition fee after they have successfully completed registration and once an evaluation of the documents they submitted and their accommodation requests has been processed. Participants must then pay the full fee quoted in the invoice within a maximum of 7 working days of receiving the invoice.

Payment for Summer or Winter University course fees must be made via Flywire. If you have problems using Flywire, please let us know and we will assist you.

A place in the TU Berlin Summer or Winter University can only be guaranteed if the full fee has been paid on time. Please note that some banks will charge transaction fees for payments that originate outside of the European Union and that credit cards might also charge an additional fee.

Early bird discounts: An early bird discount of €50 is valid for registrations for TU Berlin Summer University 2023 courses made before midnight on the 1st of March 2023. These apply to non-discounted bookings only.

Alumni: Alumni of the TU Berlin or of the TU Berlin Summer & Winter University receive a 10% discount on the course fees. You will need to upload your graduation certificate from the TU Berlin, or from the TU Berlin Summer & Winter University, upon registration.

Personal information: All your personal information will be protected and will not be passed to third party entities. Personal information will only be used by the TU Berlin Summer & Winter University for statistics and records.

Program management: The TU Berlin Summer & Winter University reserves the right to cancel a course if the minimum number of participants per course is not reached. The minimum number of participants is generally 6-8 persons, depending on the nature of the course. If the minimum participant numbers are not met, the enrolled students will be notified and given the opportunity to either change course without additional cost, or to get a full reimbursement.

Registration portal: TU Berlin Summer & Winter University will not be held liable for any technical errors in price calculations in the registration portal.

Liability, Cultural Program: The TU Berlin Summer & Winter University / TUBS GmbH will not be held liable for damages that occur while attending the cultural program activities offered. This includes, but is not limited to the orientation/welcome activities, tours, sporting activities, excursions and farewell activities.

The cancellation of a paid course enrollment should be done in writing via email.

In exceptional circumstances, the TU Berlin Summer & Winter School may consider a reduction in the above cancellation fees. In the case of an exceptional circumstance, please contact us immediately in writing (email) and we will see what we can do. 

Please note that although tuition fees may be partially reimbursed by the TU Berlin Summer & Winter School due to exceptional circumstances, the costs of hotel rooms or special cultural program activities (such as fee-paying day trips) may not be refundable, due to services being delivered by third parties.
