Berlin Graduate Studies Support Program

The Berlin University Alliance offers a comprehensive qualification program reflecting the different phases of a doctorate, consisting of five core events and a broad selection of workshops as well as coaching and mentoring services.

In addition to these core events, the member institutions offer further workshops, coaching, and mentoring for all doctoral candidates of the partner institutions of the Berlin University Alliance.

“Strengthening strengths - resource-oriented leadership” flagship program

TU Berlin’s flagship program “Strengthening strengths - resource-oriented leadership” enables professors within the Berlin University Alliance to work with internationally renowned trainers to identify and utilize their teams’ resources.

Participants learn how to use their own strengths to overcome challenges in everyday leadership and identify and effectively utilize their team members’ strengths when working together.

Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R)

Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) is a certification initiative of the European Commission which aims to strengthen international comparability and mobility in research by ensuring the best possible working and hiring conditions for researchers. A particular focus of the program is the advancement of junior scholars and career development. By applying for the “HR Excellence in Research” award, Technische Universität Berlin demonstrates its commitment to the principles of the European Charter for Research and the Code of Conduct for Hiring Researchers.
