Mitigating climate change - but how? Using the potential of greywater recycling in residential construction

Every summer, it becomes more obvious that climate change reduces our groundwater and drinking water dramatically. If we want to make an important contribution to climate protection, we urgently need to save energy and water in the construction and operation of buildings. Decentralized collection and treatment of slightly contaminated grey water and heat recovery benefit both the environment and tenants through lower operating costs.

Green Buddy Partnering Event 2022

The annual GBPE supports individuals applying for the Green Buddy Award (environmental prize awarded by the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district authority) by providing them with the opportunity to meet and discuss with scientific experts. Through a variety of formats, such as speed dating, experts from TU Berlin and UdK meet with young companies and people dedicated to sustainability and environmental protection to help them further develop their ideas.

9. Living Knowledge Conference (LK9) in Groningen

The 9th Living Knowledge Conference brought together international science shops, which are involved in conducting or supporting research with and for civil society actors and communities. Questions such as: "What can we learn from each other? How can we work together? Which connections have already been made and which ones could we still make?" were discussed from many different perspectives and new plans for the future were forged.
