Scientific Continuing Education and Cooperation(ZEWK)

Scientific Continuing Education and Cooperation

Scientific Continuing Education and Cooperation (ZEWK) offers a wide range of continuing education programs as well as interdisciplinary advising and opportunities for cooperation. We initiate and support cooperation between TU Berlin and external parties from science, industry, the working world and society. TU Berlin’s core goal of sustainable development also informs our work as well as that of our core areas.

Scientific Continuing Education and Cooperation is a central institute of TU Berlin and is divided into four areas: Scientific Continuing Education, BANA (guest auditor program), kubus – Cooperation and Advisory Office for Environmental Issues and KOOP Liaison Office Science and the World of Work.

Freelance work

Freelance work plays an important role in all four areas of ZEWK. Scientific Continuing Education covers both career-oriented and general offers and provides faculties with professional advising and interdisciplinary programs for their academic staff, including professors.

General scientific continuing education is offered by the four-semester guest auditor program "BANA (Berliner Model: Training for Post-Professional Activities)" for older persons.

We work with dedicated freelance coaches and instructors to offer an attractive, results-oriented and modern program in these two areas.

There is also the chance to work on a freelance basis

  • at theLiaison Office Science and the World of Work (KOOP) and
  • the kubus science shop(Cooperation and Advisory Office for Environmental Issues).

You can find details about current projects and activities on the websites of our four core areas.

We offer:

  • Modern teaching rooms with IT and presentation equipment
  • Payment according to the fee regulations of TU Berlin
