You would like to be admitted to a 4th examination attempt of a module final examination? According to § 30 Abs. 4 BerlHG you can obtain this by participating in a subject consultation (per module). To do this, you must fill out the following application form and submit it to us in advance:

You would like to choose a first or second examiner for your thesis who is not an authorised examiner at Faculty VII? Then please apply to the examination board in good time. You can find the form for this here.

AllgStuPO §51 (3) 1Theses are assessed by two examiners; in the case of a group work according to § 60 Paragraph 7, additional examiners can be appointed. 2The first examiner shall be the university lecturer who provides the topic and usually supervises the thesis. 3The second examiner is usually a university lecturer or, in accordance with the study and examination regulations, a person experienced in professional practice and training; Paragraph 1, Sentence 2 applies accordingly, also for the appointment of a third examiner in accordance with § 72, Paragraph 3.
As a rule, the examination boards of Faculty VII insist on at least one examiner from our own faculty and at least one university lecturer.

All other applications must either be submitted directly to the TU examination office or can be submitted informally to the examination board. In case of doubt, please contact the student advisory service of the Faculty VII by mail.
The compensation for disadvantages is an instrument to compensate for individual disadvantages and is intended to ensure equal opportunities in studies. The use of the disadvantage compensation is not noted in the report and is voluntary. An approved application for disadvantage compensation does not have to be used.
For a first degree or a first master's degree, German (and under certain conditions also foreign) students can apply for benefits under the Federal Training Assistance Act (BAföG). The application must be submitted to the BafÖG office in Berlin.
During your studies, a performance review will take place once (at the transition from the fourth to the fifth semester). You will have to prove that you have achieved the usual performance for your course of study.
You can find the BAföG officer responsible for your degree program here. The commissioners are mainly responsible for certifying certificates of achievement that are required as a prerequisite for a BAföG application.
