Application forms to the examination board NaMa, VWL (Eco), IMES oder MInE

01) For the application for a study place: Application for verification of previous achievements

You would like to apply for a university place and at the same time have achievements from a previous study recognized for this purpose? Then you must fill out the following application form and submit it to us in advance:

Please enclose a performance overview of your previous studies for classification purposes. Otherwise, the application cannot be processed by us!

Afterwards, you must enclose the application completed and confirmed by us with your study place application documents.

Evidence (see also below): all academic achievements to date (transcript of records from the university abroad as well as a current QISPOS extract from TUB); as well as - if available - module descriptions;

04) During studies: Application for other recognitions (to be submitted before taking the respective module!)

For example, you would like to take a suitable module during your studies at the TU, which is not listed in the module catalog of your degree program or area of study? Or you would like to take a suitable module for your degree program at another university in Berlin? Then submit an application to the examination board in advance.

Please enclose a module description or the link to the module description with the application.

05) Examination registration in a newly developed module

You would like to register an exam in a module which could not yet be included in the module catalog because it has already been closed for the current semester? But at the latest in the next semester this module will be included in the module catalog of your study program: Then please use this form of the examination office: Examination in a newly developed module

This form has to be submitted directly to the examination office after the signature of the examiner. Do not send it to us!

08) Application form for a non-faculty examiner for the thesis

You would like to choose a first or second examiner for your thesis who is not an authorized examiner at Faculty VII? If so, please apply to the examination board in good time. An informal application (e.g. by e-mail) is sufficient, stating at least the following: 

  • Your own details (name, matriculation number, course of study)
  • Topic or subject area of the thesis
  • name of the desired reviewer
  • Affiliation of the reviewer (e.g. which university, which faculty, etc.)
  • Reasons for your choice
  • Informal agreement of the reviewer himself*herself (e.g. by a short e-mail from him*her personally)

10) Further application forms

All other applications must either be submitted directly to the TU examination office or can be submitted informally to the examination board. In case of doubt, please contact the student advisory service of the Faculty VII by mail.

Where and how should the application be submitted?

Only fully completed and signed applications will be processed! Always enclose the relevant supporting documents with your application. 

The documents will be forwarded to the examination office after the approval procedure in the examination board, recognized study and examination achievements will then be automatically entered in QISPOS. As a rule, you will not receive any feedback on this.

We will advise you in advance of your applications to the examination board and answer your questions about them.

the module catalog of your study program in MOSES as well as 
the forms to be submitted and the requirements for applications to the examination board
