Faculty VII - Economics and Management

Successfully published master theses

Bachelor's and Master's theses written at Faculty VII deal with current research topics, which - often based on empirical data - are examined by the students in a methodologically sound manner. It is therefore not surprising that relevant research findings for business and society can arise from this. It is a particular success, however, when a thesis is also published in a scientific journal. This has now been achieved by two graduates of the faculty: Philipp Voss published his master thesis on "Innovation Performance in Healthcare M&A: An Empirical Analysis" and Markus Pfützenreuter his master thesis on "The Implementation of Financial Planning and Cost Accounting Instruments in Startups". Both master theses were published in the journal "Junior Management Science". Submitted papers go through a review process in which subject-specific reviewers evaluate the quality of the submitted contributions. The highest quality papers are published in an open access process.

The master theses were supervised by the departments "Strategic Leadership and Global Management" (Prof. Dr. Dodo zu Knyphausen-Aufseß) and "Accounting and Management Control" (Prof. Dr. Maik Lachmann). Faculty VII is pleased about the publication success of its graduates and congratulates Mr. Pfützenreuter and Mr. Voss once again!
