Event series

The Workgroup for Economic and Infrastructure Policy usually offers three event series each year. Below is brief info on these event series and you can learn more by clicking on the tiles.


Infrastructure Research and Policy Training (InfraTrain Autumn School)

INFRATRAIN is a series of events in INFRAstructure research and policy TRAINing designed for graduate scholars, practitioners, and policy makers. They are designed to promote the training of graduate scholars (advanced Master students, PhD-students, post-docs) as well as junior practitioners and policy makers (from ministries, regulatory agencies, and the private sector).


The INFRADAY is a forum for discussion between scientists, practitioners and policy makers. It is usually offered every year in October.

Konferenz Verkehrsökonomik und -politik

The annual conference "Verkehrsökonomik und -politik" provides a platform for the exchange of ideas among German-speaking transport economists. The conference, which is held in cooperation with the Zeitschrift für Verkehrswissenschaft (ZfV), presents and discusses scientific contributions that examine individual and macroeconomic issues in transportation on the basis of economic methods.


ATOM-DAY is an annual conference on the political economy of nuclear energy. The event is relevant for energy economists working in the field of nuclear energy. ATOM-DAY was held for the first time in 2023.
