The Department of Economic and Infrastructure Policy (WIP) is looking for a student assistant to support the research project "Open source modeling of the future role of renewable hydrogen in Germany and Europe" starting on 01.05.2023. The aim of the project is to analyze renewable hydrogen and its impact on the energy system. Within the project, several model types will be combined to gain detailed insights into the role of renewable hydrogen as a future energy carrier. The student assistant will support research activities within the research project, e.g., by participating in model development and coupling, data research and processing, and by assisting with organizational tasks. The working time amounts to 80 hours per month and primarily includes work in the following areas:
