River Bath Berlin 2016

Half-day excursion to Kupfergraben in Berlin. At the Kupfergraben we were given a guided tour by Kai Dolata, the project manager of the Flussbad Berlin e.V. association. We received comprehensive information about the idea of the Flussbad and the technical implementation.

Three-day excursion to Germany's largest dam (Rappbode Dam) on the Rappbode, to the underground tunnels of the Oberharzer Wasserregal (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and to the Great Wave Canal in Hanover.

Spreewald – Lübbenau 2010

On 29 September 2010 a day excursion took place in the Spreewald to the area around Lübbenau, Brandenburg. The Spreewald is one of the most popular nature experiences in Germany. The unique river landscape in Lusatia (south-east Brandenburg) with rivers whose total network is more than 1000 kilometres, is one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Europe. The extensive network of waterways, where rare animal and plant species find their habitat, was declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO as early as 1991.

Stralsund 2009

Vom 13.09.2009 - 15.09.2009 fand eine Exkursion zur Hansestadt Stralsund statt. Neben der Besichtung des Ozeaneums und des Hafens erfolgte eine geführte Wanderung durch den Nationalpark Jasmund.

From 20.06.07 to 22.06.07 a student excursion took place in the area from Leipzig to the Harz Mountains. Water management and urban water management facilities were visited.

Two-day excursion to the construction site of the Innerste dam (repair of the asphalt outer seal), visit to the quarry, the Oker dam with upstream and downstream dams, and the powerhouse with turbine (highlight: opening of the bottom outlet for the group).
