Energy, momentum and mass transfer II + III

Content

Due to the partial restructuring of some study programs and thus the respective study and examination regulations (StuPO), the course Energy, Momentum and Mass Transport II has been divided into three individual modules (A, B, C) and one module EIS III (A+B). These modules differ not only in the number of credit points but also in the included lecture chapters. The division can be found below in the overview graphic.

The lecture includes the following chapters:

  • General basics
  • Hydrostatics
  • Transport processes in frictionless fluids
  • Transport processes in fluids with friction
  • Overflowed bodies
  • Flow through pipes and channels
  • Integral and differential balance equations
  • Turbulent transport processes
  • Heat and mass transfer by free convection
  • Condensation and evaporation
