Within the scope of cooperation projects or as contract research, we perform computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations in the following application areas:
- Spatially resolved simulation of random flow and porous media
- Simulation of mixing processes in stirred tanks or static mixers including complex rheological behavior
- Simulation of reactive flows
- Simulation of multiphase flows (g/s, g/l, l/g, l/l)
Aim is the:
- Weak point analysis regarding fluid dynamics as well as heat and mass transfer in technical apparatuses
- Fluid dynamic optimization of apparatus design and operation based on CFD
- Determination of effective transport parameters for simplified process simulation models based on CFD
