Environmental Process Engineering is a multidisciplinary field combining aspects of mechanical, chemical, thermal and biotechnological process engineering. It focuses on the design and operation of industrial processes with minimum impacts on the environment. Furthermore, pollution control processes are developed, designed, optimized and operated.
