Applications from Prospective Students with a German University Entrance Qualification

Admission to many degree programs at TU Berlin is restricted - a Numerus Clausus (NC) applies. This means that only a limited number of places are awarded on the basis of certain criteria. You are required to apply for degree programs with restricted admission.

Please consult the degree program profile for the degree you wish to study to see if admission is restricted and whether you can only start the program in winter semester or if it also possible to start in the summer semester.

For degree programs where there is no restricted admission (no NC), you can apply directly for enrollment (online).

Application for First Degree Semester

Please apply via hochschulstart.de for the first degree semester of a program with restricted admission.

Application for a Higher Degree Semester

If you have already acquired credit points for studies and examinations at a university, you can apply for a higher degree semester.
