WiFi access via eduroam

  • Members of TU Berlin (students and staff) log in with their TUB account (not their library card number). Make sure to add "@tu-berlin.de” after your username.
  • Members of UdK (students and staff) log in with their OASE account.
  • Students and employees from other universities have access if their home university is part of the eduroam network. In this case, use your account information for your home university.

WiFi access in the TU network is not available to the following visitors:

  • Library visitors with a library card but without access to eduroam. However, you are able to use the Internet in the library after a one-time registration at the computer workstations.
  • Library visitors without a library card and without access to eduroam. It is not possible to use the Internet in the library without a library card.
  • However, you do have the option of using the Free Wifi Berlin network instead of the TU Berlin network.

WiFi access via the city of Berlin

Use the «Free WiFi Berlin» hotspot on TU Berlin’s campus to surf the web free of charge and without data limitations. Registration is not required. Search for "_Free_Wifi_Berlin” in the list of networks in your mobile device settings. Please note that you are unable to access any of TU Berlin’s licensed online resources when using this network. It is also unencrypted.
