When you log into the Primo Knowledge Portal, you are able to
1. TU students log in with their TU account to access their library account.
2. Non-TU students log in with their 12-digit library card number (staff should use the number on their University ID) and their password.
You assign yourself the password for your library account at this point:
Knowledge Portal Primo → Login for TU staff & all other users → Forgot your password or first login? → Follow instructions

Changing your PIN (self-issue machines)
You require a PIN to sign into the self-issue machines. The default PIN is your zip code.
However you are free to choose another number.
Changing your password (library account)
For security reasons, we recommend changing your password after logging in for the first time. Your password must be at least eight characters and cannot contain your library card number or a frequently used password. TU students cannot change their password here because it is the same as for their TUB account.
Email address
You will receive notifications, reminders about items that are due, as well as the first two overdue notices via email.
Please keep track of the due dates for your borrowed items. If you have not received a reminder, this does not entitle you to a waiver of any overdue fees.
Changing your mailing address and email address:TU students should contact the University’s Campus Center. All other users should submit an email to the Central Library’s Circulation Department: leihstelle(at)ub.tu-berlin.de.
