TU Berlin supports its members in articles in Open Access journals as well as Open Access monographs and anthologies. In addition, TU affiliates can take advantage of discounts on publication fees through publishing agreements and memberships. With its emphasis on Fair Open Access, the University places a special focus on funding non-profit Open Access initiatives and projects.
TU Berlin seeks to implement Open Access in a sustainable way that is supported by the scholarly community. To this aim, the university offers financial support for a number of publication initiatives and infrastructures in the context of Fair Open Access.
