From January, temporarily no more WLAN access via "Free WiFi Berlin"

WLAN access via eduroam still possible

As of January 2022, the service «Free WiFi Berlin» will no longer be available for an undetermined period of time. Use the «Free WiFi Berlin» hotspot on TU Berlin’s campus to surf the web free of charge and without data limitations.

Library visitors whose home university offers eduroam access can continue to use the WLAN via the eduroam network...

Please note the changed opening hours of the University Libraries of the TU Berlin and UdK Berlin (Fasanenstr. 88) between Christmas and New Year:

Citavi campus license extended until 2024

The TU's Citavi campus license has been extended by 3 years until 30.11.2024.  All users of the campus license have been sent an email (to their TU email address) to activate the new license.  If you have not received an email or the activation fails, please contact Citavi Support.

Reopening of the Physics Department Library on 15.11.2021

After a two-week closure for necessary work on the ventilation system, the Physics Department Library reopens on Monday, 15.11.21. The time of the closure was used to rearrange the study spaces. As a result, it was possible to increase the number of study spaces from 16 to a total of 38. The opening hours remain Mon - Fri 10- 18.

Reading list tool enters extended pilot phase

The new Leganto tool, which makes it easy to create reading lists without the need for trainings and which can be made accessible for courses, has now entered its extended pilot phase. Since the start of winter semester 2021/2022, Leganto can be accessed and used by all instructors at TU Berlin in the ISIS learning platform.

From Monday, 01.11. to Friday, 12.11.2021 the Physics Department Library will be closed due to necessary work on the ventilation system of the building. During this period, no items can be borrowed. Therefore, please make sure to check out the required literature before 01.11. Borrowed items can be returned at the Central Library.
