Test options for TU members

Public test center in front of the Main Building as well as test options for other TU locations

Staff and students at TU Berlin as well as members of the public can test for the coronavirus at the testing tent established together with our partner Medicare Testzentrum on the forecourt of the TU Berlin Main Building at Straße des 17. Juni 135, 10623 Berlin. Tests are also available for TU Berlin members at the University’s other locations.

PLEASE NOTE

Free tests have not been available to persons without symptoms since 30 June 2022. However, you still have a right to a free test in certain circumstances. These groups are entitled to a free or reduced-cost test.

Members of the public can test in a certified test center. As a rule, test centers do not conduct free PCR follow-up tests. However, persons testing positive using a rapid test at a test center will receive a free PCR test directly after at the same center. Many pharmacies also offer a free PCR test to anyone who can provide proof of a positive rapid test. Persons with typical COVID-19 symptoms can receive a PCR test at a doctor’s practice

The testing tent in front of the TU Berlin Main Building is a certified test center. Please book your appointment online. Further information about testing is available from the State of Berlin.
