In our modules, and in line with the Regulations Governing General Study and Examination Procedures (AllgStuPO) we follow the same codes that regulate and ensure good academic practice as defined by the Statute on the Safeguarding of Good Academic Practice at TU Berlin.
This means that the assessment of module deliverables will pay special attention to the adherence to good academic practice. Good academic practice is defined as
„ensuring the integrity of their activities, their honesty towards themselves and others, and their working, in particular,

Students enrolled in our modules are thus required to ensure that they don’t incur in any behaviour that results in an unfair advantage for themselves. In particular, we want to highlight the relevance of ensuring the respect for the intellectual property of third parties in the context of written assignments. This means that students have to make sure that they acknowledge their sources in all instances,in which they use intellectual material produced by another person. Examples for this are:

The penalties imposed for cases of academic misconduct are laid down accordingly in the Regulations Governing General Study and Examination Procedures (AllgStuPO). Students are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves with this document.
