Soeren Franke studied Industrial Engineering and Management at the TU Berlin with stays abroad in Canada and graduated with a degree in material flow technology and logistics. His diploma thesis dealt with the development of a supplier- and plant-related procurement logistics of a surge arrester plant of a well-known German DAX company. After completing his studies, Soeren gained extensive professional experience in Germany and abroad during his work for Siemens AG and later Bayer AG. After initially working as an internal consultant and management assistant, he increasingly focused on the area of digitization and innovation, where he is currently based in Berlin. Since November 2020, Soeren has been working part-time as a doctoral student and concentrates his research on the topic of Augmented and Virtual Reality controlled manufacturing collaborations and its influence on innovation effects.
