Philip Emmerich is currently a Senior Consultant at Campana & Schott for Project, Programme and Portfolio Management, he did study Chemistry, Technology Management and International Development at various institutions in Germany and abroad. In October 2018 he started to work as a Lecturer and Research Associate at the Chair of Technology and Innovation Management at Technische Universität Berlin.
Based on his previous experiences working in the chemical industry and in the energy sector, his main research interests are in the fields of:
Agile organization (Dissertation)
Renewable energy technologies
Sustainable transformation
He published in top conferences and journals, such as the Journal of Energy Policy (JEPO), Technological Forecasting & Social Change (TFSC), and is featured in the Science for Environment Policy service by the Directorate-General for Environment of the European Union. Furthermore, he contributes to Project Management communities such as GPM and PMI.

Philip Emmerich had a Lecturer status at the Department of Technology and Innovation Management (TIM)
From 2019 to 2022 he was responsible for the overall coordination and exercise of the new course and teaching format for Fundamentals of Project Management at Technical University of Berlin after designing and executing a successfull pilot in 2018.
In his Project Management exercise he integrates applied project management knowledge and experiences of his time assisting the project leadership in managing and controlling of the EnBW AG major project Roll-Out Metering Infrastructure (ROMI) and contributing to the Energy System 2050 (ES2050) project of the Helmholtz Association.
