Technology and Innovation Management

Annika Wambsganss

Annika is a doctoral student at the Chair of Technology and Innovation Management at TU Berlin. She is enthusiastic about the emergence of new technologies and associated firm behavior on the market. Annika’s research focus lies in strategic firm behavior during the emergence of technology convergence. Her dissertation is part of a partner program between TU Berlin and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). 
Previously, Annika worked 2,5 years in project and innovation management of a consultancy. She supported the coordination and execution of various IT projects and initiated multiple innovative projects to improve firm culture and acted as a community manager internationally. 
Annika received a Master of Science in „Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship“ from TU Berlin and a Master of Management from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH). During her master studies Annika worked as a student assistant for an innovative health promotion project at the University of Hamburg, and at TU Berlin at the Chair of Strategic Leadership and Global Management in topics of design thinking and sustainability management. In her master thesis, Annika examined corporate sustainability reports of German and Polish companies.
