Yating Ou

Yating Ou works in the SVFS group at the Institute of Mechanics and also in the 3D printing lab. She focuses on metamatreials, shape memory alloys and fibre materials.

Yating Ou received her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from China Agricultural University in 2018. The topic of the bachelor's thesis is about the seismic stability analysis of multi-tower structures. And she received master’s degree form TU Berlin in 2022 and the major is design and construction. Her master thesis developed a mechanical model of an adaptive façade and conducted a stability analysis in python. Yating Ou has worked for a structural consultancy (bridges) since 06.2022.
