Mario Alvarez Blanco

Mario Álvarez Blanco is doing a research stay at TU Berlin and collaborating with SVFS group as part of his PhD studies in Carlos III University of Madrid (Spain). Mario completed his MSc in Industrial Engineering and works in the FABDIS group of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at his home University. He is focused on finite element analysis, biomechanics and material extrusion-based additive manufacturing. The aim of his research is the numerical prediction of fracture on 3D-printed polymeric components through the phase field approach.
