Getting Involved

Whether student initiatives, representatives, clubs, projects, or university-political committees and groups - TU Berlin offers its students a number of ways to participate and contribute. Students are often easily able to pursue personal commitment and involvement in addition to their studies. And it’s worth it as active participation means actively contributing to and managing university life. It is also a good opportunity to meet others and may even help open up career prospects.

Representative Committees

Representative committees are volunteer student committees dedicated to student interests and concerns. These so-called “INIs” (for student initiatives) are politically active within the University, operate student cafés, and often host orientation events for new students in their respective faculties and disciplines.
