Culture & Sports at Technische Universität Berlin

Campus life at TU Berlin is colorful and offers an array of opportunities. Do you want to learn more after your lectures or during your lunch break? The University’s extensive cultural and sports program is bound to have something that will pique your interest. Even the most resolute couch potatoes can find a motivating class among the 1,150 offered by TU Sport.

Perhaps you are interested in learning Indonesian or Finnish? Then the 120 members of the Language and Culture Exchange can help. The 1,575 trees on campus are not the only sign of sustainability. TU Berlin is a lively place. Don’t believe us? The 132,031 bottles of mate sold by studierendenWERK every year should resolve any doubts you may have.

Sustainable Living

Solar energy on the roof of the University Library, a wood or fine mechanical workshop with a 3D printer, a brazing lab and screen printing shop, or urban gardening in a neighborhood garden with creative upcycling: Sustainable projects permeate campus culture at TU Berlin. The Campus in Transition network combines and connects all these initiatives.
