Studying and working in Europe and overseas

Earning credit points, gaining work experience in an international company, and furthering language skills: There are many opportunities to complete a stay abroad during your studies – Summer and Winter Schools, study or internships abroad, or even acquiring a second degree.

Technische Universität Berlin maintains a network of contacts worldwide and 300 cooperations with universities in Europe and beyond, allowing students to study elsewhere for up to twelve months. However, it is important to plan long-term. To find out how to plan a stay abroad and learn more about financial aid, contact Student Mobility and International Students in the International Office.

Summer or winter schools at partner universities

Consider spending a few weeks in China, India, or Norway during the semester break The Summer and Winter Schools at TU Berlin’s partner universities offer students an excellent opportunity to gain international experience in just a few weeks.

Working internationally: Internships abroad

If you are interested in taking a closer look at an international company during your studies, an internship abroad is a good opportunity to do so. The TU Berlin Career Service awards ERASMUS+ and PROMOS scholarships for internships abroad and provides information about other funding opportunities for Europe and overseas.
