Psychological Counseling - Help during difficult Times

Who completes their studies without a hitch? The demands of studying and also life can be difficult. TU Berlin Psychological Counseling supports you in crisis situations, both study-related and personal. Problems that bring students to Psychological Counseling may include

  • Stress and feeling overextended
  • Exam anxiety
  • Writer’s block, learning difficulties, and procrastination
  • Difficulties finding your way, motivating yourself, and making decisions
  • Difficulties in your contact and relationships with others
  • Problems regarding self-esteem, anxiety, and depression
  • Psychosomatic complaints
  • Problems specific to international students (culture shock, worrying about loved ones in crisis areas, etc.)
  • Conflicts arising during group work

Psychological Counseling offers individual counseling, seminars, and workshops. Counseling is free and confidential. Counseling is also offered in English to international students.

Emergencies

If you are experiencing an acute psychological crisis, you can contact the Social-Psychiatric Services (SPD) of the Berlin districts, the Berlin Crisis Service (Berliner Krisendienst), or the emergency center of your local psychiatric clinic at any time of the day or night.
