Participation is only ONLINE via hochschulstart.de (without documents or proof). To participate in the clearing procedure, you must register with hochschulstart.de, irrespective of your nationality. If you are already registered with hochschulstart.de, you can use your existing account. Otherwise you must create an account with hochschulstart.de
You may only participate in the clearing procedure if you did not receive admission from hochschulstart.de through the regular admissions procedure.
If you are admitted, you will receive a notification from TU Berlin via hochschulstart.de. Please note that you must fulfill the legal requirements for taking up specialized studies at the point of admission. This means that you must have a university entrance qualification certificate matching the program applied for and be able to provide proof of the required German skills.

There are still free study places!
For the winter semester 2023/2024, a TU lottery system will take place for the first degree semester in some degree programs, which you can find in the following application form.
To participate in the lottery, you must fill out TU Berlin’s application form to participate in the lottery. Submit the application form by October 12, 2022 as a PDF by e-mail. You do not need to include any further documents or proof. You can only submit one application form for participation in the lottery.
If you are admitted, you will receive a notification from TU Berlin by e-mail with an access to your TUB account (tuPORT) to upload all documents for enrolment.
Please note that you must also already fulfill the legal requirements for taking up specialized studies at the time of admission. This means that you must have a university entrance qualification certificate matching the program applied for and be able to provide proof of the required German skills.
In the event that study places for a higher degree semester in degree programs with restricted admission (with Numerus Clausus) have not been allocated after the completion of the admission procedure, these study places will be allocated by means of a lottery system.
To participate in a possible lottery, you must fill out TU Berlin’s "Application form to participate in the lottery". The „Application for recognition of previously obtained credits (Part A)" from the relevant TU Berlin examination board with placement in a higher degree semester is mandatory, too. Should you have conclusively failed an examination in the degree program you have been studying thus far at a university in the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Norway, the examination board must additionally be satisfied that the failed examination does not represent an obstacle to you being accepted to the degree program for which you are applying. Submit the application form and the completely filled and signed "Application for regocnition of previously obtained credits (Part A)" by 1 October for the following winter semester or 1 April for the following summer semester directly to TU Berlin Team Bachelor by e-mail.Please find the relevant information on the form.

Information for re-registrants at TU Berlin
If you were previously enrolled in the same degree program with the same study and examination regulations at TU Berlin, you are a re-registrant. When re-registering, you can only apply for the semester you were placed in by the TU Berlin examination board. The semester must fall within the standard period of study for your degree program AND be offered the semester you are applying (i.e. winter or summer semester).
Please note that it is not possible to be placed back in the first degree semester of a restricted admission degree program (with NC).
