Orientation Week from 4 to 8 October 2021

#GuidetoTUBerlin: The Orientation Week held from 4 to 8 October 2021 is your guide to the University.

Students are finally returning to campus for winter semester 2021/22. For all new students, this means finding your way at the University and in your studies, immersing yourself in campus life, and meeting fellow students. Returning students will be keen to learn how TU Berlin plans to transition from virtual teaching to primarily in-person teaching.

Whether you are currently moving to Berlin or have lived here for several semesters, Orientation Week has digital events and content designed for you, including exclusive videos about studying at TU Berlin, live reports on social media, and an official welcome from the Executive Board. In different video formats, TU Berlin offices and students will be answering questions like: How do I create course schedule? How do I meet other students offline and online? Where can I go for help? How do I find my way around campus? These will all be posted here so that you don’t miss a thing.

Our campus correspondent Nadine Hadad will be reporting live from campus about where you can find up-to-date information, where improvements still need to be made, what kind of sports activities are currently permitted, as well as about current library services.

If you still have questions, our key central points of contact are offering extended advising hours, to help you clarify things in time for the start of the semester.

Your degree program's introductory event is an opportunity to meet new students and lecturers. Here you will learn how to create your schedule, which courses to take, and what kind of projects you can get involved in. These introductory events kick off 1 October. Make sure to check out the schedule and agenda for your degree program so that you don't miss a thing.

Additionally, other TU Berlin offices and units are holding introductory events, such as the University Library's info days or the information events for international students.

Please note: This page will be regularly updated with information about Orientation Week. A schedule for the week with various events will be available shortly. Bookmark this page and check it out!
