On 08-06.2023 from 4-5 pm our online event on options in studying with (in)visible illnesses, disabilities and partial performance disorders will take place. The following questions will be addressed, among others:

  • What additional application documents do I need so that my health situation is taken into account in the allocation of study places?
  • How do I organize my studies at my individual pace?
  • What options are there for adapting exams and academic achievements?

The event is aimed at pupils, prospective students, students and all interested parties. The event will be held in German, but we will also be happy to answer questions in English. June 5.-9. Study Orientation Week

The Study Orientation Week 2023 (short 'wdso23') will take place from June 5-9. In a variety of events you will get an insight into studying at Technische Universität Berlin and learn more about our study programs. During the Study Orientation Week you can get an insight into studying at  our university:

  • Information events, Q&A sessions, and individual advising sessions online and on-site
  • Insights into TU Berlin’s study programs during campus tours, lectures and get-togethers
  • Online materials on study orientation, like videos and podcasts

Writing Consultation – new workshops in June

In June, a wide variety of formats on the subject of academic writing will again be offered, from the difficulty of finding the right idea to overcoming writer's block.

28.06. Study successfully with ADHD

Strategien und Techniken (2-tägig)

In this course we want to talk about typical pitfalls for students with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) during their studies. After a brief introduction to the topic, you will learn techniques that should help you to organize your everyday study life better and to use your time sensibly, to motivate yourself and to learn more effectively. We make use of psychotherapeutic methods and techniques from consulting, use findings from motivational psychology and mindfulness and exchange ideas about lifehacks that are intended to make everyday study life with ADHD easier. Contents: 06/28/2023 - Brief teaching of theoretical basics - Work organization and time management 06/30/2023 - Concentration training and dealing with distractibility - Motivation problems and procrastination The second block builds on the first. Please check whether you can attend both dates. Students who so far only suspect they are affected by ADHD are also welcome to the course! Most chronic illnesses are not visible. Health impairments include mobility, hearing, speech and visual impairments, mental and chronic illnesses as well as partial performance and autism spectrum disorders.

We advise personally, currently with FFP2 mask, via phone or video chat. If you are interested in an appointment, please send us an email, specifying a time frame in which we can easily reach you.
