The Institute of Sociology currently employs approximately 100 members of staff as professors, research associates, administrative employees and student assistants.
Each of our academic chairs has its own distinct work culture. However, the entire Institute is characterized by a culture of productive and collaborative exchange. As part of this, our academic chairs communicate regularly with each other. Institute colloquia, lunchtime rituals, and Christmas celebrations with homemade mulled wine are just some examples of our communicative approach to work.
