Scientific Career

Artur Philipp completed his training as an IT Specialist in Application Development in 2010 and worked as a Mobile Web Developer and Consultant for several years, with the goal of optimizing the user experience on mobile websites for key customers.

During his bachelor studies in Business Informatics at Heilbronn University, he acquired extensive knowledge in Agile Software Development. In 2016, Artur received the "German Project Management Study Award" from the German Association for Project Management (GPM) for his final thesis "Maturity Model for Agile Software Development Teams" and subsequently advised well-known customers such as IBM, VW, DB Systel and Deutsche Rentenversicherung regarding the effective application of agile methods.

In 2019, he completed his Master's degree in Business Informatics at HTW Berlin as semester best with distinction and subsequently focused on decentralized and DLT-based systems. He worked at DB Systel for almost 3 years as a blockchain developer and architect focusing on Hyperledger Fabric as well as Hyperleder Indy, supervised the technical implementation of the first national SSI pilot "Hotel check-in for business travelers" on the side of Deutsche Bahn and was involved in the initial development of the SSI organizational wallet Lissi ("Let's initiate self-sovereign identity").

Since March 2022 Artur is a researcher  and PhD student in the research group "Service-centric Networking (SNET)" led by Prof. Dr. Axel Küpper.
