Campus Management IT Service Desk Open on Campus to Provide Support with TAN Procedure/Two-Factor Authentication

Campus Management's IT Service Desk will be open Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00, to assist University members with setting up the TAN procedure/two-factor authentication. This security measure is necessary for a number of services, such as accessing webmail on the restored Exchange server, which has been available since Monday, 16 August 2021. The Service Desk is located in room EN 024, Einsteinufer 17, 10587 Berlin. 

Campus Management strongly recommends TU members use two-factor authentication via a time-based one-time password in place of a TAN list or mTAN. For technical reasons, it is currently not possible to re-activate or update the mTAN procedure, such as to link it to a new phone number. Important: Please make sure to download the following apps for your respective device before your visit to the IT Service Desk.

Please also note: Due to the pandemic and current hygiene regulations, only two visitors at a time are permitted in room EN 024. Please follow TU Berlin`s hygiene regulations and bring a valid ID for the authentication procedure.

To allow us to efficiently address all support requests, please avoid visiting the help desk for reasons unrelated to the TAN procedure/two-factor authentication. Instead, call the Campus Management hotline (+49 30 314-28000, Monday to Friday, 10- 16:00) or send an email to it-support@tu-berlin.de.
