Under the motto "Sustainability! Unlimited", the SEPAWA CAT (Cosmetic Applications and Technologies) and LUV (Legislative - Environment - Consumer) Groups held a lecture event in Mainz. The event presented promising concepts for sustainable ingredients for cosmetics and detergents and was also dedicated to the latest regulations and certifications. In this context, the SEE department presented a lecture on "dm project: the path to an environmentally neutral product." Here, the LCA approach developed by the SEE department for dm-drogerie markt GmbH + Co. KG and partners was explained step by step, and existing challenges were addressed: from LCA and product-specific reduction to the compensation for five environmental impacts.
