Sebastian Kirkam successfully completed his training as a machinist at SKET GmbH from 2003 to 2007.
He then worked as a production employee on drilling and milling machines.
From 2013-2016, Sebastian Kirkam continued his training as an industrial foreman.
Since the beginning of his training, he has held various positions within SKET GmbH, both in production and in quality management/assurance.
Since January 2022, Sebastian Kirkam is a member of staff at the TU Berlin and works in the research group for rail vehicles.
Dirk Itzeck trained as an electrician at TRO Berlin from 1978 to 1980 and worked there as an NC electronics technician until the end of 1990.
From 1985-1990 he completed a correspondence course in Berlin and Eisleben, specialising in industrial electronics.
Since Jan. 1991 he has been a member of staff at the TU Berlin and worked at the Department of Biochemical Engineering until Feb. 2012.
In March 2012 he moved to the Department of Rail Vehicles, where he took over a new area of responsibility in measurement technology.
Brigitte Schulkowski trained as a technical draughtswoman, specialising in mechanical engineering, at the vocational school for technical draughtsmen and draughtswomen in Berlin.
She then worked for 5 years for the consulting firm Ferchau in various companies (Borsig, KWU (Siemens), Siemens-Kabelwerk).
From April 1985 to September 2000 she worked at the Optical Institute, Department of Physics, TU-Berlin.
From January 2001 to October 2001 she worked on the project Digital Inventory of TU Buildings, at the Department of Technical Architectural Representation, TU-Berlin.
Since October 2001 she has been working at the Chair of Rail Vehicles and since 2010 additionally at the Chair of Road Planning and Operation of the TU-Berlin as a technical draughtswoman. She works as an editor for the homepages of both departments.
