Wiryanto Dharmawan joined the Chair of Rail Vehicles as a research associate in March 2023.
He received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University in 2020, majoring in design engineering. As part of his bachelor thesis, he created an FE model of an electric vehicle subframe for NVH investigation inside the vehicle.
In 2021, he will graduate in Product Development (M. Sc.), also at RWTH Aachen University, with a focus on powertrain engineering. In his master thesis, he derived an MBS model of a wind turbine gearbox from Simpack to Simulink for load determination during power failure.
His focus at the Chair of Rail Vehicles is on digital automatic coupling.
