Structural Planning and Advising

We advise faculties and institutions when they are planning a new strategic orientation for an area and the related professorships and would like to use instruments such as accelerated new and re-appointments with or without external financing.

We also coordinate TU Berlin’s structure and development plans, which are developed on the basis of the faculty development plans regularly prepared by the faculties. Structural and Development Planning develops standards, advises on the preparation of the faculty development plans, and coordinates feedback meetings with the Executive Board.
