Monday, 11.01.2021, 14.00 – 16.00 o’clock, the meeting will be held online (Webex-Conference).
The session will offer a short overview of the information and orientation material of the CJS (TU-DOC Office). The ombudsperson for doctoral candidates Prof. Dr. Kerstin Wittmann-Englert, the Head of Administration Alexander Gerberding and the Advisor of Academic Affairs and Evaluation Ina Haase, will briefly introduce the faculty and its Service Centre and, together with Ms. Schmollny as the responsible staff member, answer your questions.
We’d like to get in contact with you personally and to discuss together questions concerning the organization and structuring of your doctorate like i.e.:

Monday, 30th November 2020, 14:00 to 16:00; the meeting will be held online, see p. 3.
The session will offer a short overview of the information and orientation material of the “Center for Junior Scholars” CJS, formerly the TU-DOC office for doctoral and postdoctoral services. The ombudsperson for doctoral candidates Dietrich Manzey, and Anke Heymann as the responsible staff member will briefly introduce the Faculty with its focal points, the most important contact persons for you and their support for young academics. Tu-Anh Fay and Philipp Nagel as spokesperson for Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter*innen in the faculty board will introduce you to the networking activities among early stage researchers.
We would like to get in contact with you personally and to discuss together questions concerning the organization and structuring of your doctorate like i.e.:
- How can I plan my doctorate in advance and be supervised effectively?
- Which qualifications are important and which services does TU offer to support me?

The session will offer a short overview of the information and orientation material of the Center for Junior Scholars (CJS, until recently TU-DOC Office for doctoral and postdoctoral services). The ombudsperson for doctoral candidates Prof Kübler and Prof Salomo as representative for the „Berlin Industrial Engineering and Management“ (BIEM) program will be present, and the head of administration Ms Lotz will briefly introduce the faculty and its Service Centre and, together with Ms Engel as the responsible staff member, answer your questions. Ms Klatt will present the offers of the economics library.
