The bestseller "Contact Mechanics and Friction. Physical Principles and Applications" by Prof. Valentin L. Popov has been published in Japanese by Verlag Maruzen (https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/4621307711/). This is the 10th edition of the book that was chosen as an Outstanding Academic Title by Choice Magazine in 2017. Japanese is the sixth language in which the book is published, after German, English, Chinese, Russian and Spanish.
The Japanese translation was done by Ken Nakano, Professor at Yokohama National University.
