LAPAN-TUBSAT

The Indonesian space agency LAPAN was looking for partners to set up a center for satellite design and manufacturing. It joined the TU Berlin microsatellite design, manufacturing teaching program in 2003. Indonesian engineers not only participated in teaching over the period but have been actively included in the design and manufacture process. LAPAN-TUBSAT was launched into a sun synchronous orbit with altitude of 625km by an Indian PSLV on Jan. 10, 2007. Since then it is taking breathtaking color videos with image pixel resolution of up to 6m.

Flight Results: Palm Jumeirah, Dubai

Flight Results: Hamburg Harbor
