Biography:

Maurizio received his BSc degree in Engineering of Computing Systems from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in September 2018.

Subsequently, he was accepted in a Double Degree Master program in Human-Computer Interaction and Design organised by EIT Digital. As a part of this program, he studied in the first year at Politecnico di Milano (MSc - Computer Science and Engineering) and the second year at Technische Universität Berlin, Germany (MSc - ICT Innovation). 

He got his Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in October 2020 with a Master Thesis on User Experience and Social Acceptability of VR technology. 

Since October 2020, he is employed as Research Assistant at the Quality and Usability Lab, aiming to get a Ph.D. in the field of Extended Reality (XR).

His main interests are XR, UX/UI design and evaluation, and software development.
