Faculty Board of Faculty VI - Planning Building Environment
The Faculty Board and dean are the organs of the faculty according to the TU Berlin Constitution.
The Faculty Board has 13 members:
- 7 professors
- 2 academic staff members
- 2 students
- 2 employees in technology, service, and administration
The dean serves as chair of the Faculty Board.
The Faculty Board is responsible for a number of decisions, including enacting bylaws, budgetary appropriations of the faculty in accordance with the budget of TU Berlin, as well as properly conducting teaching and examinations, coordinating teaching and research, evaluating teaching, and awarding teaching assignments. It is also involved in appointment nominations and Habilitation procedures.
Sessions
The Faculty Board’s sessions generally take place Wednesdays from 13-17:00. Compulsory courses are not to be scheduled on Wednesdays after 13:00.
Session dates for the 2022/23 academic year can be found in resolution FKR VI – 4 / 189 of 04.05.2022, session dates for the 2023/24 academic year can be found in resolution FKR VI – 4 / 200 of 10.05.2023.
